Two parked cars
Meant my parents were home behind
A locked door.
I opened my mouth
And went through the backyard past
Two parked cars.
I've done it before,
But not enough to warrant
A locked door.
The rain poured down
On me - the disheartened rebel - as I stared at
Two parked cars.
I walked as far as I could
Before I returned to try and break through
A locked door.
My shoes were full of wet grass and mud,
And my heart was drowned when I saw
Two parked cars
And a locked door.
